October is National Women’s Small Business Month, and we are shining a spotlight on some of our local small business clients.
Today, we’re talking to Shannon Kriehn, owner of Better Way Primary Care in Wareham.
Shannon Kriehn is a family nurse practitioner with more than 20 years’ experience, with 16 as a registered nurse and seven as a nurse practitioner. Shannon has worked in emergency departments, urgent care centers, and primary care facilities.
Shannon always has been focused on patients’ needs, making sure they feel heard and understood. In late 2021, she decided to pursue her own office on Main Street in Wareham. Shannon renovated the space at 91 Main St., Suite 213, into a fresh, tranquil and welcoming office for patients.
In April 2022, she opened a Better Way Primary Care, which is down the street from Toby Hospital. A Better Way Primary Care aims to spend time with patients to build a health and wellness plan to help them have longer and happier lives while maintaining reasonable costs. Key services offered are annual wellness visits, health screenings, chronic disease management, remote patient monitoring, IV fluid administration and more.
